Fibromyalgia is a chronic condition characterized by significant and widespread pain and fatigue, which interfere with a person’s ability to carry out daily activities. Fibromyalgia affects about 6 – 12 million people in the United States alone. When diagnosed in adolescents, it is called Juvenile Fibromyalgia.

 

Symptoms may include:

 

  • Chronic pain
  • Trouble sleeping
  • Morning stiffness
  • Headaches
  • Tiredness
  • Problems concentrating
  • Trouble remembering things
  • Depression or Anxiety
